Condiments make everything better. They’re the perfect way to turn the remaining one or two ingredients found at the bottom of your fridge into something incredibly tasty. Think pickled vegetables, fermented foods and sauces, relishes and dips. They’re also a wonderful way to introduce different flavours and textures to your infant. Many store bought condiments contain high levels of salt, sugar, vegetable oils and additives such as preservatives, emulsifiers, colours and flavourings; all of which can have negative health effects. Making your own condiments at home is easier than you think and is incredibly satisfying. Plus, your children will thank you.
